Kimbo Slice MMA Clothing

TapOut has come out with four different Kimbo Slice articles of clothing. The ghetto ass Kimbo “All Day” T-shirt, the Kimbo Skull (Doomsday) Tee, a red death zip up hoodie and the Doomsday Kimbo hoodie. Of these choices, which do you think is the best?

According to Seth Petruzelli during his interview on Florida radio show, Monsters Morning Show, EliteXC “promoters kind of hinted to me and they gave me the money to stand and trade with him [Kimbo Slice]. They didn’t want me to take him down — let’s just put it that way. It was worth my while to try to stand up and punch with him.” In response to this allegation, Head of Fight Operations for EliteXC Jeremy Lappen told Sherdog we “Obviously we didn’t pay [Petruzelli] to stand”… “Kimbo had trained for months to fight a guy who’s fighting on the ground. We don’t care if people stand or take people down or what. It doesn’t matter to us. All we want is an exciting fight.”

According to ESPN, if things go Seth Petruzelli’s way, there will be a rematch between he and Kimbo Slice.  But the second time around, things will be a bit different.  For one, he won’t cut 30lb’s for their next fight, which he did thinking he was fighting Aaron Rosa and two, “If I get the rematch I would train to take him down next time. I will train for a different type of fight the next time, for sure.”  For now, it’s too early to determine if the fight will take place in the short term, but hopefully EliteXC and Kimbo’s management can work something out.

Kimbo Slice vs Seth Petruzelli Knock Out

It can happen to the best of them. Tonight, Kimbo Slice was proven to be human by Seth Petruzelli, only 14 seconds into their EliteXC Heat Fight for CBS. A kick, followed up with a right hand, put Kimbo Slice to the mat. We hope to post a Kimbo post fight interview soon.

TapOut’s got the idea now… For EliteXC Heat Kimbo Slice along with his training partners wore a Blue and Yellow TapOut T-Shirt.  The background color of the t-shirt was solid blue and the lettering yellow, representing the Bahamas.  The shirt was much like the TapOut Shirt below, but with yellow lettering instead of white.  We hope to find a place to buy this unique blue and yellow Kimbo Slice EliteXC tshirt.  There are some similar Tapout Sport and Short Sleeve T-shirts, but not quite the Bahamas style.  As soon as we do, we’ll post the link.

I’m sure that Dana White is going to love this one. It was just announced that Kimbo Slice will no longer fight Ken Shamrock on the EliteXC Heat card. After sustaining a cut above his left eye during a prefight training exercise, the Athletic Commission is preventing Ken Shamrock from fighting Kimbo Slice. Will we see Kimbo and Shamrock face off? No for at least another 45 days. In the mean time, Seth Petruzelli will step in Ken’s place and fight Kimbo Slice on tonight’s EliteXC Heat Card.

Chuck Liddell’s a total hater.  He’s hating on Kimbo Slice in a recent interview by the UK’s Sun.  When interviewed regarding Kimbo Slice, Chuck states that he’s over hyped and has yet to face a real professional challenger.  He goes on to state, “Gannon beat him didn’t he? And how long did Gannon last in the UFC?” (referring to the controversial “street fight” between Sean Gannon and Kimbo.  Liddell additionally states “People talk about him like he’s the next great thing when he really hasn’t done anything. He’s been built up because of the Internet and him beating a bunch of guys on the street. I could make some impressive knockout videos too if you let me walk outside and just punch people and knock them out – “hey you, come fight!”  What do you think?  Hi Hater?

Chuck Liddell in the Ring Throwdown Shirt

Tonight Ken Shamrock and Kimbo Slice weighed in for their EliteXC Heat fight which will take place tomorrow night at 9pm on CBS Saturday Night Fights for free. Both fighters made weight and look ready to fight, but Kimbo looks to be more fit.  My predictions, Kimbo’s going to Knock Ken out in the first round, but we’ll see.
